JOHN CRISP is the founding member of The Law Offices of John Crisp and Associates, PLLC, where he and his excellent staff have established a broad-based complex litigation and appellate practice. Mr. Crisp has litigated, briefed, and/or defended numerous complaints, appeals and writ petitions, and litigated and/or briefed dispositive pre-trial and post-trial motions on a variety of topics, including constitutional law, civil rights, and state and federal regulations, with two said cases culminating in United States Supreme Court Briefs, both of which were solely authored by Mr. Crisp himself. He has litigated and/or briefed claims involving the Federal Tort Claims Act, Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), as well as complex and common law torts involving murder, fraud, serious personal injury, employment discrimination, medical malpractice, agency and partnership, antitrust, business interference, real estate foreclosure fraud, securities fraud, and other torts. He has also developed a particular expertise and an excellent reputation in litigating, defending, and/or briefing complex immigration claims.
Mr. Crisp earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from The Johns Hopkins University’s Zanvyl Krieger School of Arts and Sciences, and his law degree from The University of Maryland School of Law. He began his career clerking at The Law Firm of Rochlin and Settleman, in Baltimore, during his last two years in law school.
Mr. Crisp is presently licensed in both the District of Columbia Superior Court and the District of Columbia Federal Court, and will soon be licensed in New York, Georgia and Maryland.
Our appellate services are also available to any attorney or Law Firms licensed within the dist. of Colombia, or private business with its main offices located within the district of Colombia, provided their exist no conflicts and all aforesaid cases are solely contained and that all time remains within the jurisdiction of dist. of Colombia Court
